Holding Myself Back?
One of the great things about moving to Vermont is the abundance of things to do outdoors. The boys are skiing, ice skating and even snowshoeing. Bill is in the process of taking up cross-country skiing and is also snowshoeing. So, what about me? I think I am holding myself back. This week, Bill and I are chaperoning a ski week trip for a group of International students that are studying at Thetford Academy. It is a great set up - everyone gets to ski and go to the water park, skating rink etc. I think I am afraid of learning to ski and more importantly, falling. But, this would be a great place to learn. No one knows me and I could even get a private lesson. I should have signed up to get skis yesterday with everyone else. I think I might have talked myself into skiing on Thursday....I will let you know.
