GrannyB and BillyB came to visit this week.  We had an adventuresome week visiting places we didn't get to the last time they were here, which was last summer! Monday we celebrated BillyB's birthday a bit belated, and Tuesday we visited the Chutes along the river and enjoyed watching the boys swim and explore. We followed that by driving to Fairlee,VT and Orford, NH and then back to Fairlee for a stop at the Whippi Dip for a local dinner treat!  Wednesday we enjoyed dinner with neighbors and Thursday BillyB and GrannyB drove over to Woodstock and Quechee to do a bit of sightseeing. Thursday night was a highlight as we went to see the Circus Smirkus.  This is a new circus to us but apparently well known in the NE.  It was founded in Greensboro, VT.  A neighbors' son is in the circus and it was really great to see him perform!  This is not your "regular" circus - there are no animals or fancy costumes and feathers, just a group of amazing talented and flexibl...

We had the pleasure of attending the annual Thetford Hill Fair! Apparently is has been going on for a 100 years or so. I helped at the Tea Garden and the Antiques tent! After our wonderful cruise we headed up the Fl. coast to St. Augustine and then on to Sunset Beach, NC.  Great to see family and friends along the way!
