Penny Carnival

Yesterday we attended a fun event called a Penny Carnival.  Everything was a penny and there were fun carnival type games and silly prizes. It was in support of a local library, the Peabody Library in Post Mills. The library was founded in 1866 and it is open only certainly hours during the week. The inside is lovely and makes you want to take out a book and sit down and read. This is certainly not the kind of library we are used to, but the simplicity of the structure, its importance in the community and that it has book that kids and adults want to read is really all that matters.
