New Spots Explored

We joined some friends for the Labor Day weekend in Swanton, VT.  Swanton is about three miles from the Canadian border on the NY side of the state and it is on Lake Champlain.   It was a lovely spot and wonderful to getaway. We enjoyed time with friends as well as exploring a different corner of the state of VT.  It was a blustery but beautiful weekend and fun was had by all!

Lake Champlain - looks more like the beach!

another view but from the shoreline

the "beach" is shale - it makes really interesting designs
